LDoN Raid: Mistmoore's Catacombs: Scion Lair of Fury

Recruiter: Glopruk Tigglum, Butcherblock Mountains camp · Theme: Mistmoore's Catacombs · Portal: Lesser Faydark

What the recruiter says

Hail: Glopruk Tigglum says, 'Me hate dem vampires over in doze dark catacombs. They do have some of de shiny tings though. Me seen lots of dem come through here. I mean shiny tings, not vampires. My new friends have lots of work to do. If youz can rally de call of your friend perhaps youz can help us wit a serious [problem].'

[problem]: Glopruk Tigglum says, 'One of de rogues heard dat Valdoon Kel'Novar, a Trueborn, was on his way to de rocky summoning place to make an army of gargoyles to do de Trueborn's biddin'. If he make dat stony army, de Trueborn can rule over de rest of Mayong Mistmoore's Progeny. We can't let dat happen, see? You gonna need lots of help. Are youz [interested]?'

[interested]: Glopruk Tigglum says, 'Bring back de shiny tings for me!'

How it plays out

1. Clear the lair. Fight through the Scions' lair. Two kills along the way are optional but each one adds a chest:
2. Grortrakien the Mutilator: "Grortrakien the Mutilator's corpse draws a final breath while clawing at its fatal wounds." and "Your victory has weakened a shroud of magic cloaking the dungeon's treasure."
3. The Elite Scion Guardians: each death reports how many remain ("An Elite Scion Guardian falls. of its order still guard the Scions' hoard."); the last one brings "The last Elite Scion Guardian falls. Your victory has weakened a shroud of magic cloaking the dungeon's treasure."
4. Find the bond-twins. Sfisithik the Light Devourer and Halusant the Nightblood wait in separate rooms. They are bound together, so they have to fall together. If one is nearly dead while the other is still strong, it "drinks deeply from its bond with and is restored to full strength! They must fall together." When both are low: "...falters as its bond with frays. Strike them down together!"
5. Kill both within a minute of each other. When the first dies: " collapses, but its bond still binds it to . Slay within 60 seconds or will rise again!" If you are too slow: "Too slow! rises again on the strength of its bond with , and both stand renewed."
6. Claim the hoard. When both twins are dead: "Your victory has shattered the shroud of magic surrounding the dungeon's treasure." and "With the bond-twins destroyed, the Scions' hoard lies open in the square chamber north of Halusant's lair."

Reward

Two reward chests appear in the square chamber north of Halusant's lair when both twins are dead. One more appears if Grortrakien was killed, and another if every Elite Scion Guardian was killed. Either of these extra chests still appears if you finish that kill after the twins.
